The Shower Program is located at St Luke’s Episcopal Church in downtown Long Beach. This all-volunteer program is organized and run by an exceptional group of community volunteers and welcomes all, including people who are experiencing homelessness.
Volunteers staff stations to dispense clothing, shoes, blankets, bags, miscellaneous amenities and services, and food. Volunteers also coordinate showers and maintain secure bag check and electronic charging area.

Twice a month, St. Luke’s Shower Program sponsors a free laundry session at a local laundromat for about 50 to 70 people who are experiencing homelessness.
We are truly grateful to our weekly donors.

In 2022, shower program volunteers and guests launched a community food garden at St. Luke’s. The harvests from this garden are consumed by volunteers, and extras are incorporated into the program’s lunches.
